Kitui governor Charity Ngilu has released a shocking statement on how recent BBI meeting in her territory was planned to be disrupted. Through a press statement on Tuesday, Ngilu narrated how former Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka and Tanga Tanga team allegedly received funds for BBI disruption purposes.

According to Ngilu, the Wiper leader Kalonzo and jubilee lawmakers allied to Dp Ruto received Kshs 20 million from who she claimed as their master. For her, the sum was meant to mobilize youths to interfere with BBI what she claimed was attempted by Gatundu South Mp Moses Kuria.

"This Ksh. 20m was received at Pot County Hotel in Kabati Town, some 20 kms before you get to Kitui town on Saturday 1st February 2020 at a meeting chaired by Wiper Leader Kalonzo Musyoka, Senator Wambua, Hon Dr Makali Mulu, Nimrod Mbai, Dr Rachel Kaki and all other Tangatanga sympathizers." Charity Ngilu noted in part of her statement

Ngilu further added that "On 29th January 2019 at a WIPER meeting at Stony Athi Resort that I was invited, WIPER MPs led by the former Vice President, received a lot of money from one Peter Muthoka to mobilize youths to disrupt the BBI Forum in Kitui. They each carried up to Ksh. 1m each to bring people from their sub-counties. One MP hired 13 buses from his constituency to ferry youths who he intoxicated on alcohol to come a heckle leaders at the meeting. Each of these young people received Ksh. 5000 as shall be confirmed in the upcoming court proceedings."

"On the day of the Public Forum, police intercepted and arrested a van full of crude weapons and stones that were to be used to disrupt the BBI forum. The arrest was recorded as OB No: 30/1/2/2020 at 10:57 am at Kitui Police Station. The culprits were held in custody. The van belongs to the CDF office-Mwingi Central. The nerve to even ferry such weapons and stones in a known Government vehicle shows the level of impunity reached by the Tanga tanga operatives."

Kitui boss claimed it is now clear Kalonzo is a wolf who eats with President Uhuru during day time and goes for Tanga Tanga at night.
